Nov 27 (LNG) - Fluxys Belgium, owner of the Zeebrugge LNG import terminal, has carried out a private placement of bonds valued at 350 million euros ($438M) to repay bonds issued in 2009. "Total market appetite reached over 700M euros of demand, which confirms the confidence of institutional fixed income investors in Fluxys Belgium credit and the key role of the Belgian natural gas grid as the crossroads of Northwest Europe," Fluxys said. The transaction in two tranches was managed by French and Dutch banks BNP Paribas and ING. The bonds will be listed on the Euronext exchange in Brussels.
