Tokyo Gas volumes increase

Nov 18 (LNGJ) - Tokyo Gas, the third-largest Japanese LNG importer, said sales volumes in October rose 4.4 percent to 1.06 billion cubic metres, the equivalent of 785,000 tonnes of LNG. The utility said it was paying an average of $726 a tonne for its imported LNG in the July to September period. Togas said demand in the industrial sector rose 5.9 percent, but fell 6.4 percent in the business sector, while residential use increased by 9.6 percent.
