Nov 10 (LNGJ) - Finland-based marine propulsion company Wartsila said its dual-fuel engines had been chosen to power nine ice-breaking LNG carriers ordered earlier in 2014 to service the Russian Yamal LNG project. The Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering shipyard in South Korea has ordered a total of 54 Wartsila dual-fuel engines to power the nine 172,600 cubic metres capacity ships for use in the Arctic conditions of the Yamal venture in Northern Russia.
