Japanese LNG carrier named

Oct 2 (LNGJ) - Mitsui OSK Lines of Japan held a naming ceremony for the carrier "LNG Venus" at the Nagasaki Shipyard of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The vessel will deliver cargoes to Japanese utility Osaka Gas. The "LNG Venus" is co-owned by MOL and the utility's shipping unit, Osaka Gas International Transport. The vessel has 155,000 cubic metres capacity and Moss storage tanks with a reheating system for steam-turbine propulsion.
