Oct 1 (LNGJ) - Norway's Gassco, the transporter of pipeline gas from the Norwegian continental shelf to European gas, said it would give more information about unplanned incidents that affect the flow rate and ultimately the price of gas and LNG. "We want to simplify and improve the data we provide about the gas transport system," explained Morten Carlsen, operations manager at Gassco. "We've pursued a process with the transport-system users to identify the good solutions which can provide more and better information. That's why we're now reducing the threshold for providing information about reductions in the quantity of gas," Carlsen explained. From now on, all reductions related to unplanned incidents which exceed 5 million standard cubic metres will be published on the Web site: flow.gassco.no
