Sept 17 (LNGJ) - The Gas Exporting Countries Forum, including the majority of LNG producers, has held a meeting of its high-level working group to discuss long-term strategy. The gathering took place in the Qatari capital Doha under Iranian Secretary-General Mohammad Hossein Adeli. The GECF brings together the LNG nations of Algeria, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Arab Emirates. Its three other members are Bolivia, Iran and Venezuela, making 13 in all out of a total of 20. Other LNG exprting countries such as Australia, Brunei, Malaysia and Peru are not members.
