Sept 8 (LNGJ) - Bestobell Marine of the UK said it secured its first order to supply its new range of cryogenic high-pressure globe valves to Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co in South Korea. The valves have been developed over the past two years in conjunction with DSME to meet the exacting standards required for valves in new fuel gas systems. The valves will be installed on five 174,000 cubic metres capacity LNG carriers being built on behalf of Canadian company Teekay LNG.
