Golar parent offers shares

Sept 5 (LNGJ) - Golar LNG, based in Hamilton, Bermuda, has started a secondary offering for 27.8 milllion shares by its principal shareholder, the World Shipholding company controlled by Norwegian shipping tycoon John Fredriksen. The following investment banks are acting as joint book-running managers: BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Goldman, Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley and RS Platou Markets AS. Co-managers of the offering are Arctic Securities, BNP Paribas, DNB Markets and Pareto Securities.
