Aug 14 (LNGJ) - The Court of Appeal in Lagos upheld an objection by Nigeria LNG and dismissed an appeal filed by Global West Vessel Specialist Ltd. challenging an earlier Federal High Court decision to continue a substantive suit over the blockade of NLNG's export plant jetty at Bonny Island in the Niger delta last year. NLNG in 2013 filed a case at the Federal High Court against the Attorney General of the  Nigerian Federation and Global West seeking a judicial determination on the legality or otherwise of certain levies sought to be imposed on NLNG by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency  and the consequent blockade of NLNG vessels by the agency and Global West as a result of the dispute.
