Exmar raises Norway LNG funds

June 27 (LNG) - Exmar, the Belgian LNG shipping company with a fleet of 13 LNG vessels, has sold bonds in Norway due in July 2017 to help finance LNG activities in an offering which was "significantly oversubscribed". The company said it sold 700 million Norwegian crowns ($114M) worth of bonds with interest and principal payments swapped into dollars at a fixed interest rate of 5.72 percent. The transaction was conducted by local firms DNB Markets and Pareto Securities.
