June 16 (LNG) - The Linde Group of Germany was awarded a contract by Arctech Helsinki Shipyard of Finland to build a tank system for a new icebreaker for the Finnish Transport Agency that will be LNG fuelled. The vessel has been designed especially for icebreaking operations in the Baltic Sea. Linde said the LNG fuel tanks will be the biggest ever installed for this kind of application and the work would be carried out by Linde subsidiary Cryo AB.
