May 1 (LNGJ) - The Australian-led Magnolia LNG project in Louisiana being developed by LNG Ltd. has filed its formal application with the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to build the plant and infrastructure to produce eight million tonnes per annum of LNG on the shore of the Calcasieu River, near Lake Charles. "This represents a significant step towards achieving a final investment decision in late 2014 and financial close in mid‐2015," LNG Ltd. said.
