April 30 (LNGJ) - The Statoil LNG plant at Hammerfest in Northern Norway, the only baseload LNG production facility in Europe with 4.2 million tonnes per annum of output from a single Train, has shut down until around June 8 for just over a month of scheduled maintenance. The last cargo was loaded on April 26 onto the 147,200 cubic metres capacity "Arctic Princess" bound for Spain.
