Gazprom raises Ukraine price

April 7 (LNGJ) - Amid continuing tension between Russia and Ukraine, Gazprom said it was raising its natural gas price for Ukraine to $485 per 1,000 cubic metres from this month "in strict compliance with the existing contract between Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine." The Russian company said the natural gas payment situation for Naftogaz was worsening, with the outstanding debt amount now running at $2.2 billion.
