APLNG upstream contract win

March 26 (LNGJ) - Australian company Monadelphous has secured three contracts with the Australia Pacific LNG Project, for the construction of upstream gas processing and compression facilities associated with its coal seam gas to LNG venture in Queensland being developed by ConocoPhillips, Sinopec of China and local firm Origin Energy. The contracts have a combined value of around $250 million. The ALNG plant is being constructed on Curtis Island near Gladstone and CSG will be delivered by pipeline when the facility is completed in 2015.
