March 12 (LNGJ) - The Texas Alliance of Energy Producers (TAEP) urged President Barack Obama to approve the pending export permits of LNG projects in the US and to support legislation in the Congress that also would allow the export of LNG to all nations requiring it. "With the current shale gas revolution in the US, American companies are seeking to export gas, including to Europe," the TAEP said in a letter. "But the existing bureaucratic blockage for the approval of the export licenses to non-FTA countries are a major hurdle."
