March 7 (LNGJ) - The Magnolia LNG project in Louisiana being developed by Australian firm LNG Ltd. was awarded a Department of Energy (DoE) export permit for Free Trade Agreement nations in regions such as Latin America and the Caribbean for its full production capacity of 8 million tonnes per annum. "Magnolia LNG is currently focused on LNG supply to FTA countries, so the DoE approval for up to 8 MTPA is timely," said Managing Director Maurice Brand.
