Dec 27 (LNGJ) - Chart Industries, the US LNG equipment maker, said its European subsidiary Chart Ferox was awarded a contract by Hybrid Port Energy to provide LNG fuel storage and processing equipment for an LNG-fuelled barge in the German port of Hamburg. Chart's on-board LNG system is comprised of two 40-foot LNG ISO intermodal containers and a skid mounted gas processing unit, along with connecting equipment. LNG will be supplied in modular form using the ISO containers swapped on a full-for-empty basis to eliminate the need for a bunkering station.
