Dec 17 (LNGJ) - The Port of Rotterdam said something unique happened last weekend at the Gate LNG import terminal when two LNG carriers were moored at the same time in the Nijlhaven jetty area. The presence of the 177,000 cubic metres capacity LNG carrier "Ben Badis" and the 160,000 cubic metres capacity "Arctic Aurora" is a sign of a recovery in the LNG throughput in Rotterdam, the Port said. It expects the annual LNG figures to be 25 percent higher than in 2012.
