Dec 13 (LNG) - The LNG Canada project being developed by Royal Dutch Shell is currently undergoing an environmental assessment as required by federal and provincial legislation. This includes a 30-day public comment period which began on November 13 and closes on December 13 at midnight, Shell said. The LNG Canada consortium building a plant near Kitimat also includes Korea Gas Corp., Japan's Mitsubishi and PetroChina.
