Oct 31 (LNGJ) - Technip, the French LNG engineering company, posted third-quarter net profits of 150 million euros ($205M), up almost 2 percent on the same three months a year ago amid a rise in the backlog from 13.5 billion euros to 15.8Bln euros. Chief Executive Thierry Pilenko said: "Technip's performance was contrasted between our two activities. On the one hand, Onshore-Offshore was a good performer and segment revenues were up 30 percent with margins of 6.6 percent in the middle of our target range, while Subsea revenues were up only 2 percent."
