Oct 29 (LNGJ) - Gazprom has proposed at the autumn session in Beijing of the International Gas Union that the 28th World Gas Conference should take place in St. Petersburg and that Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom, should be IGU President from 2018-2021. The 26th World Gas Conference will be held in Paris, France in June 2015, while the 27th WGC in 2018 will take place in Washington DC. Gazprom is seeking to host the 2021 WGC.
