Aug 27 (LNGJ ) - Tokyo Electric Power Co., the largest Japanese LNG buyer, purchased 2.4 million tonnes of cargoes last month, a rise of 12.6 percent on the same month last year as the company continues to use other forms of energy to replace nuclear power generation shut off because of the TEPCO Fukushima plant disaster of March 2011.
