July 10 (LNGJ) - Novatek, the LNG developer and second-largest Russian natural gas producer after Gazprom, reported preliminary production data for the second quarter and the first half 2013. The developer of the Yamal LNG project said gross production for the second quarter totalled 15.19 billion cubic metres of natural gas. Gross natural gas production increased by 1.15 billion cubic metres, or by 8.2 percent., compared with the second quarter 2012.
