July 2 (LNGJ) - Tokyo Gas paid the equivalent of $828 per tonne for its LNG in the quarter until the end of May compared with $811 for the three months until the end of April. In accordance with the provisions for consumer natural gas prices in Japan, the LNG price rise has forced Togas to raise consumer prices from August by 1.38 yen per cubic metre.
