May 29 (LNGJ) - Sonatrach, the Algerian state LNG producer and pipeline supplier to Europe, and Italian energy company Eni have agreed on a package for 2013 and 2014 within the framework of their commercial discussions under the existing gas contract. "As part of the Agreement, Eni and Sonatrach will reduce certain quantities of the contractual gas volumes delivered into Italy. This agreement is part of the renegotiations program started in the recent months, and contributes to the announced objectives of profitability and cash generation," their statement said.
