April 22 (LNGJ) - Italy's Eni, involved in the LNG project in Mozambique and plants in Nigeria, Angola and Egypt, was awarded a key deepwater exploration block in the Egyptian Eastern Mediterranean in the latest bid round in Cairo. Eni's Block 9, also known as Shorouk Offshore, covers an area of 3,765 square kilometers.
