Feb 6 (LNGJ) - Marathon Oil Corp., owner of the Equatorial Guinea LNG plant in West Africa, said its gas division's annual income slumped to $91 million compared with $178M the previous year, partly due to lower LNG sales because of a maintenance turnaround in the second quarter of 2012. LNG sales from the liquefaction plant on Bioko Island were 6,327 metric tonnes per day compared with 7,065 tonnes per day in the three months before, and slightly higher than the 6,290 tonnes per day posted for the fourth quarter of the previous year.
