Jan 11 (LNGJ) - Chevron Corp., one of the world's leading LNG production companies, said in an interim update that earnings for the fourth quarter of 2012 were expected to be "notably higher" than the third quarter of 2012. Upstream results will reflect increased gains on asset transactions and higher liftings, the US major said.
