Jan 8 (LNGJ) - BG Group, the leading LNG player and the only international energy company, with participation in the five big discoveries of the Brazilian pre-salt Santos Basin, started commercial production with its partners at the Sapinhoa field in block BM-S-9 offshore Brazil. The Cidade de Sao Paulo floating production, storage and offloading vessel is the first unit deployed on the Sapinhoa field and the second of 15 FPSO vessels planned by the partners in the first phase of development of Santos.
