Nov 20 (LNGJ) - Captain Andrew Clifton was appointed as the new General Manager of the Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (SIGTTO). Clifton spent over five years in Indonesia as LNG shipping operations manager for the BP Tangguh LNG project. SIGTTO is the industry association responsible for bringing a global consensus to the promotion of industry best working practices and high standards of safety in the storage, handling and seaborne transport of liquefied gases. He succeeds Bill Wayne who served successfully as SIGTTO General Manager over the past five-and-a-half years
