Nov 7 (LNGJ) - Pertamina, the Indonesian energy company, awarded local firm Rekayasa Industri the engineering, procurement and construction contract to transform the Arun LNG production plant into an LNG receiving and regasification terminal. The Arun plant is running out of feed-gas and no longer exports, while local domestic gas needs have soared, necessitating the supply of gas for industry and power via a new regas facility.
