Oct 19 (LNGJ) - Singapore is expected to introduce LNG bunkering for shipping in Asian waters by early 2015, according to the Maritime and Port Authority. Other global ports such as Rotterdam in the Netherlands also plan to create bunkering hubs for LNG-fuelled ships, to support new cleaner maritime fuel regulations for Northwest Europe and other areas. Meanwhile, the first Singapore LNG import terminal at Jurong Island is now 95 percent complete and is scheduled to begin operations in the first half of 2013.
