Oct 17 (LNGJ) - Aker Solutions signed a $50 million contract with Italian energy company Eni for a development project offshore Angola in southwest Africa. The West Hub project is located 130 kilometres west of Soyo where the Angola LNG plant is located and in which Eni has a stake. Aker's scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and supply of static and dynamic steel tube umbilicals, totalling 34 kilometres, in addition to associated equipment and hardware.
