June 15 (LNGJ) - BW Group, the shipping and LNG carrier company controlled by the Sohmen family, has seen its corporate entities and bond ratings downgraded by Moody's Investors Service to Ba2 from Ba1. BW also owns a 47 percent stake in BW Offshore Ltd, the world's second-largest FPSO owner and operator. On BW LNG activities, Moody's said: "The balance of unencumbered vessels - comprising eight LNG vessels in a joint venture with Marubeni and two LNG vessels under construction, will be available only upon approval by the JV partner and on completion in 2014 and 2015, respectively."
