June 3 (LNGJ) - The Qatari RasGas LNG production plant at Ras Laffan announced that it has, for the first time ever, completed one full year without a serious injury among its workforce. RasGas has improved on its industry-leading 2007 LTI rate of 0.03 (according to the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers) and is currently at a rate of zero in 2012. Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, RasGas Managing Director, extended his appreciation and thanks to all employees "for achieving an extraordinary safety performance."
