May 29 (LNGJ) - Woodside Petroleum conducted investor tours of the two LNG plants it operates in Australia, the new Pluto LNG plant and the established North West Shelf facilities, comprising six liquefaction Trains. Both plants are located about 1,200 kilometres north of the city of Perth and supply Japanese utilities. The 23-year-old NWS plant has two life-extending feed-gas supply projects on track. The $5 billion North Rankin Redevelopment will supply 5 trillion cubic feet of gas by 2013. The $2.5Bln Greater Western Flank Project will develop the Goodwyn GH reservoir and Tidepole field via subsea wells tied back to the Goodwyn platform by 2016.
