May 24 (LNGJ) - Drydocks World, the Dubai ship repair and construction yard, held a steel-cutting ceremony for the turret for the Royal Dutch Shell Prelude Floating LNG hull being constructed in South Korea by Samsung Heavy Industries and French engineering company Technip. The turret, which will be shipped to the SHI Goeje yard in Korea, will be 90 metres high and weigh 11,500 tonnes when completed.
