May 11 (LNGJ) - East Asian spot LNG cargo prices for June or July delivery have risen to around $18 per million British thermal units, their highest for two years, traders said. Japan is now importing more than 8 million tonnes per month of LNG as its gas-fired power industry is working at full capacity to replace lost nuclear power generation.
