April 27 (LNGJ) - Yemen LNG confirmed the sabotage of a 38-inch feed-gas pipeline that links its inland gas field to the Balhaf liquefaction plant on the Gulf of Aden coast. The explosion occurred in a desert region about 260km north of the plant. This is the third attack on the pipeline in seven months. The two previous attacks have led Yemen LNG to bring forward maintenance shutdowns to mitigate lost production.
