March 14 (LNGJ) - BG Group's Queensland Curtis LNG Project has awarded a A$45 million transport and storage contract to Australia's Toll Energy Logistics. The contract for the coal-seam-gas-to-LNG project requires Toll to transport materials and equipment from suppliers to work sites, and to manage storage facilities to support construction activity in the feed-gas fields in the Surat Basin of southern Queensland. QCLNG said it required Toll to use rail transport wherever possible to reduce impact on roads. Toll will operate a QGC warehouse and lay-down area next to a rail siding about 10km east of the town of Miles on the Warrego Highway.
