Feb 27 (LNGJ) - Encana Natural Gas Inc., a subsidiary of Canada's Encana Corp., has opened the first LNG fuelling station in the US state of Louisiana. Located in Frierson, the station will serve the fuelling needs of heavy duty truck fleets is also open to the public. Encana also recently secured a contract with Pivotal LNG, a subsidiary of AGL Resources Inc., which owns and operates a small-scale liquefaction facility. This contract enables Encana to provide LNG to the transportation sector.
