Feb 6 (LNGJ) - Production at the Atlantic LNG plant at Point Fortin in Trinidad fell around 8 percent in 2011 to around 14.6 million tonnes, the Energy Ministry said. Trinidad is sending fewer cargoes to the US, but more are being diverted to higher-priced markets. Canada also receives contracted Trinidad LNG shipped by Spain's Repsol to the Canaport import terminal on the Canadian east coast.
