Jan 30 - Siemens Energy named Adil Toubia, aged 53, as Chief Executive of its Oil & Gas Division, including turbines and compressors for LNG production. He succeeds Tom Blades, who has been appointed as a member of the Managing Board of Linde AG. Toubia was most recently a partner in Energy Capital Group, a private equity investment firm. Prior to that, he held executive positions at GCC Energy Fund and Schlumberger. "We're pleased to have secured a recognized leader with international experience in the oil and gas industry as CEO of our Oil & Gas Division," said Michael Suess, Siemens AG board member and CEO of the energy division. Toubia, a Norwegian citizen, studied at Columbia University in New York and has a master's degree in electrical engineering.
