Jan 12 - Cove Energy, the UK-listed explorer with a stake in Anadarko Petroleum's planned Mozambique LNG venture, is attracting several potential bidders after putting itself up for sale. Oil India Ltd. is one of the companies considering a bid for Cove, officials said. India's Bharat Petroleum Corp. and Videocon Industries also have stakes in the Rovuma Area 1 off Mozambique from where the feed-gas for the LNG plant will come. Buyers would be expected to pay around $1.2 billion for Cove, analysts said.
