Dec 6 - Argentina's state-owned energy company Enarsa booked around 50 cargoes of LNG for 2012 delivery, short of its 82-cargo target in a November 2011 tender, the Argus pricing firm reported. The Argentine buyer will pay a premium of around $11 per million British thermal units over the Henry Hub Nymex for 23, 138,000 cubic metres capacity cargoes to be delivered to the Bahia Blanca port-side LNG facility. Deliveries to Bahia Blanca will come from Japan's Marubeni with two cargoes, Spain's Repsol-YPF with 10, Spanin's Gas Natural Fenosa with five and BP with six, the Argus report said. Cargoes heading to the Escobar terminal - where delivery logistics are more complicated - fetched a premium of $12-$13 per MMbtu over HH, Argus reported. Spain's GNF was the sole bidder for Escobar, where LNG supply will start in January 2012, it added.
