Qatar and Centrica sign MOA

Dec 5 - Qatar's Minister of Energy Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada and Sam Laidlaw, Chief Executive of UK utility and energy company Centrica, signed a memorandum of understanding detailing cooperation in energy-related investments, including existing projects in upstream oil and gas, LNG, gas storage and combined-cycle gas turbine generation assets. Centrica has an LNG contract with Qatar to receive 2.4 million tonnes of LNG per annum for three years.
