STX Europe, the maker of LNG-fuelled vessels including passenger ferries,achieved operating revenues of 5.2Bln Norwegian crowns ($897M) for the third-quarter 2011. Pretax third-quarter profit was 535M crowns compared with 195M crowns last year. STX has 15 shipyards, including in Finland, France and Norway.
