January exports eased to 38.75mmt as weaker Pacific and Atlantic Basin volumes more than offset an 11 percent jump in Middle Eastern output. On the demand side, European buying drove a 14 percent increase in Atlantic Basin imports, our Markets Editor Dr Alexander Wilk writes.
