Power project delays free up feedgas for LNG

Acute turbine shortages are delaying gas-fired power projects in the United States and beyond which plays in the hands of LNG project developers. The price of building gas-fired power plants in the US has risen to $2,200–$2,500 per kilowatt of capacity, raising doubt about projects economics.
